While wandering around in Target the other day I came across a great deal that I couldn’t pass up. There was a Closetmaid Cubeicals shelf in the clearance section, well two actually. It had 12 square openings to put bins (3 for $5.50 at Family Dollar) or other items in. It measured 4 ft. x 3 ft. The regular price was $70 and it was on clearance for $21. Since I knew that my current shelves were going out to the greenhouse, I snatched it up….after a little debate with myself, of course….but I just couldn’t let it go. For $21 I didn’t even care what color it was. They had another one there, exactly the same, but it’s price was $50. ??? If it’s still there and by some miracle the price has gone down when I go back tomorrow I’m snatching that one up too! It worked out perfectly for what I needed and the second one would stack nicely on top and take care of a lot of my fabric storage needs. My little multi-purpose room might actually become clutter-free!
Just for the record, the date/time stamp on the photos is completely wrong. I took the batteries out of my camera to replace them and left them out for a day and didn’t realize I needed to reset it. I love my new shelves and everything looks so much neater and more organized! I really hope I can find another one! My middle son very generously put it together for me. I felt kind of ridiculous watching him because it was so simple, but I still had the dregs of my headache that day and couldn’t add 1+1 much less focus on that task. Thank you, Nick! Maybe I can get him to do the next one if it’s on sale.
All of my unused albums, large paper packs and cardstock, and some individual project containers are on top, and all of my other supplies are in the cubbies; markers, stickers, adhesives, cricut and cartridges, smaller paper, and much more…..with room to spare! Does that mean I need more stuff? Just kidding honey!
I wish I had a before picture to show you. I never thought that these Cubeicals would be so incredibly…searching for word…..neat, I guess. Everything is in its place.
