Well Hello! I think I know you, but it’s been so long. At least, that’s how I feel. I just saw that my last post was September 19th. It seems like so long to me, but it’s just two weeks. It probably seems like so long because that’s about how long I’ve been without my computer. My computer got sick, a virus, and had to go to the doctor and then we went on vacation. I couldn’t pick it up right away when we got back, so here I am, back to playing, for the first time in what seems like months to me! My computer got an anti-virus virus. What?! Yep, I opened an email, one that I knew I shouldn’t have opened by the way, and I immediately got a message from my anti-virus software that I had been invaded and needed to upgrade because my version didn’t have the capabilities to fix it….except it wasn’t my anti-virus software. It wouldn’t even let me play a game! Probably a good thing. I should just remove them all from my computer. I would probably find myself with a lot more time! The computer doc knew exactly what happened, thank goodness. He also found a new battery for me for about 1/3 of the price that I found it for. Yay! My battery was completely fried and I had to have my laptop plugged in constantly! Defeats the purpose of a laptop! Plus, my cord is worn and loose and kept slipping out….and then my computer would shut down…and then I would have to reboot and start over. Very frustrating and time consuming. That’s part of why I have so few posts in the last few months.
I turned my computer on this morning and found that a computer buddy had nominated me for the Sunshine Award. Apparently, I bring sunshine to her life through my blog. I think she just likes my snarky comments. Thank you, Piper, over at Talk About Cheesecake! You brought a little sunshine to my life this morning. A sort of “Welcome Home. We missed you.” It was really the other way around, I know. I missed all of you. I wasn’t going to accept awards anymore, but this looks fun and not too difficult, so….one more. I just have to answer 10 questions from her and come up with 10 new questions for my 10 nominees. Well, she made it look easy! I think I’ll do that tomorrow. Ummm, I think I hear my sewing machine calling me. See ya tomorrow!
