I have a finally finished! I finally finished my son’s high school scrapbook, just in time for the next class to graduate. Tomorrow is the last day of school here. You can see pictures of it here and here. For the last couple of pages I wrote a little note for him and put it on a page with a thank you card, and then the very last page isn’t really a page at all, it’s just all the cards he got from people, stuffed in a page protector. It turned out really nice. It’s funny, I think he’s the only one who hasn’t looked at it yet. I take that back, he asked where the pictures of him playing football were. I can’t find them! When I do, because I know I will, I’ll add them in on another page. And, NO, I’m not counting it as an almost finished anymore!
I’m already thinking about my daughter and other son’s books! My daughter finishes 8th grade this year so I need to finish her elementary and middle school books before I think about high school. I think I’m only on 1st grade so far, but it includes everything, not just school. My second son’s book starts in middle school and will go through high school with just school events and my daughter’s high school book, maybe middle and high, will be just school stuff too. He graduates next year so I have a whole year to finish that one. I’ll have to go back in time and do the early years books for the two boys. I’m going to start by finishing my daughter’s early book(s) and then my son’s high school book.
I think I just set a goal for myself. I have one year to finish 11 years of scrapbooks! Yeah, I don’t think I’ll ever say it like that again. Maybe I’ll deplete my paper stash like I haven’t been depleting my fabric stash. Boy, I hope I do better than that!
